The Office of Student Life and Cultural Centers

"Advocacy. Inspiration.
Community. Engagement."

For nearly 3 years I worked for OSLCC as a part of their “Diverse Design” team.  I worked on over 100 branding campaigns during my time with this organization that highlighted individual events centered around womxn, Black, Asian, Latinx, Indigenous, and LGBTQ+ identities. I communicated directly with the coordinators of each cultural center, and occasionally for outside clients hosting events on campus such as the Survival Arts Academy, Gia Gunn from RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Yusef Salaam of the Central Park Five.

The Office of Student Life and Cultural Centers’ mission is to provide students with intentional learning experiences that promote leadership, empowerment, social justice, and community development. Their vision is to create innovative learning-centered opportunities to develop students to become leaders in a global society.

26,000~ students were reached each year over the course of 3 years.
6 Cultural Centers. 5 Student Life Offices. Over 100+ branding campaigns.

I have created collateral on both a large scale and small scale. Countless 11×17 and 12×18 posters were staked across the entirety of campus. Monitors located in the busiest area of campus were fitted with my team and my’s designs. The Office of Student Life and Cultural Centers has seen a 30% growth to their programs attendance numbers and attribute much of this success to the countless new branding campaigns brought forth by the Diverse Design Team.
